Over $800,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to students in the spring of 2020! Two-thirds of these awards were funded by the Oxford Hills Scholarship Foundation. The OHSF is the largest scholarship foundation associated with a single public high school in New England!
The Oxford Hills Scholarship Foundation was established in 1998 and has benefited from Three donations of $1,000,000 each from Robert and Sandra Bahre. The Foundation has awarded over $2,000,000 in scholarships since 1999. Last year, the Foundation awarded over $800,000 to the class of 2021 and students already enrolled in college. Local community scholarships of an additional $120,000 brought the total amount of all awards to $920,000. The Oxford Hills Scholarship Foundation provides scholarship in varying amounts to graduating seniors and previous OHCHS graduates annually. Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in Associate or Undergraduate programs.
The Scholarship Foundation also oversees the investment funds for several other scholarships supporting OHCHS graduates.
