STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES

Student Opportunities

Oxford Hills School District provides many different types of opportunities for students to help enrich their academic experience, encourage community involvement, and foster the growth of young citizens.

Some types of opportunities available to students are:

Internships

Generally, an internship consists of an exchange of services for experience between the student and an organization. Students can also use an internship to determine if they have an interest in a particular career, to create a network of contacts, or to gain school credit. To find out about available internships contact Hilary Hendricks at the OHCEE.

Scholarships

A grant or payment made to support a student's education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievement. To inquire about available scholarships contact a school guidance counselor.

Volunteer

One of the better-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people, animals, and organizations in need. Click Here to read more about the benefits of volunteer work.
